Image via WikipediaWe think there is a blue heron hanging out at the small lake in front of our apartment. Each time we try to get close, he flies away, or I would snap a picture. We are going to try to check the trees behind the lake to see if we can find nests. I don't know a thing about herons, so I don't even know if they would nest here or if they are just passing through. Anyone know?I will let you know what we find out.

There are blue herons in the area....I know there was one that I always saw out toward where I lived out in the county....pretty....hope your visitor is a regular there...

He disappeared, but Susan said she thinks she saw him too.
I think he is really stinking fast and takes off once he sees us. We are going to look for the nests once the rain stops. I hope to see him again!
